What Every Dieter should Know About The Secret

Unless you have living without a television or a computer you have probably heard about the book titled “The Secret.” The author has been on Larry King and Oprah and has even had a television special made about “The Secret.” You will see the book prominently displayed in all the bookstores. It is a course on how to use the Law of Attraction.

There are countless stories about how “The Secret” has been used by people to turn their lives around.

Let’s look at how we can put “The Secret” or the Law of Attraction to use in helping us shed our excess pounds and achieve our weight loss goals. After all, whether you know it our not, you used the law of attraction to get to where you are today. Yes, those tight clothes were attracted by you.

Did you know that “The Secret” can be used by you to create your perfect body and to lose the weight you’ve been wanting to lose?

The law of attraction tells us that whatever we focus or thoughts on becomes our reality. If you think about eating, then you eat and experience the body that eating has given to you.

If when you think about happiness you think about food, then your experience will be that to be happy you must eat. See, it’s not the food that makes you happy. It’s your thoughts about the food.

How can you harness the law of attraction to create your new fit body?

It goes like this: a thin, fit person thinks about those things that will make him or her thin or fit. When a thin, fit person fantasizes, it is about the run they’re going to have at lunch time and how good it’s going to make them feel. So that thought becomes their reality. They go have a run at lunch and they feel good afterwards.

Stop thinking like a fat person. Stop visualizing your next meal. Stop feeling negative about yourself. Stop avoiding looking at yourself in the mirror. Look in the mirror and say “tomorrow you will be thinner.”

Observe the thoughts in your head right now after reading that last paragraph. Come on. Write them down. Force yourself to look at the programming running in your head.

Harness the law of attraction and attract to yourself the body you know you want and should have.

Think about how good you are going to feel with your pants or skirt feeling loose. Think about the compliments you will get about your weight loss. Think about how good you are going to feel after you walk 30 minutes on the treadmill.

Take charge of your mind and fire that little voice that got you where you are today. Feed your mind positive “fit” thoughts and become the new you.
