For me, being left-handed can sometimes be a challenge. Almost all hand-held devices, such as tools, fishing reels, and golf clubs been designed for the right-handed majority. So much has been created to accommodate the right-handed consumer, that is can be downright frustrating at times for left handed people. The snub however, is usually not intentional, but the financial reasons are compelling. So, unless the balance of left-handed people tips in the other direction, we had better get acquainted to living in a right handed world.

Most left handed golfers, have a difficult time finding a great set of golf irons, left-handed drivers, or left-handed putters. Depending on your proximity to major golf stores or golf pro shops, you best bet is likely to order your golf equipment through a dedicated website, or use Ebay. Some of the larger sporting goods store carry only a very limited supply of left handed irons left handed drivers in the store, but have more inventory available online.

Some people are blessed with the ability to play with both hands, but most of us have a hand that we naturally favor. If you notice left-handed golfers at the driving range, you will notice a lot of the same tendencies. When we slice the golf ball it goes way off to the left. A good piece of advice that I received when learning to play golf was to try to find a left-handed golf instructor. Even though I originally learned from a right-handed golf pro, getting swing refinement from a left-handed golf pro proved tremendously valuable. Left handed golf instructors are able to teach you more about your swing and the tendencies of left-handed golfers.
