One of the most special days in your life is your wedding day. As a woman getting married you’ll want to select a prized gift for your guy. In most traditions, the bride and groom purchase each other a very select gift. Something that will be treasured for years to come. But with all you have to do in planning a wedding, a great gift idea may not be coming to you easily. Don’t worry just think about your guy and ideas will come.
Do you have a cook in your family? While cooking is not my passion, I do enjoy it. And there is nothing like a new gadget or a new recipe to get me inspired to spend some more time in the kitchen. Gifts for the kitchen are quite common for wedding and bridal shower gifts, but they also make good gifts for all occasions, especially for a person who enjoys the art of cooking.
I have had the good fortune of being gainfully employed for most of my 17 years since college graduation. In that time, I have worked for at least a dozen different individuals. Heaven knows, they have been a very diverse group of people! Regardless of the boss’s personality and work style, one thing held true - I had to do what I could to make them happy. After all, they were signing my paycheck! Below are my five secrets to managing my boss, and therefore, keeping him or her happy.
After the drudgery of winter it’s so nice to feel the warmth of spring. I love seeing the flowers start to grow and the birds return to my northern climate. And spring also brings the return of many different celebrations. From valentine’s day to graduations, Mother’s Day and Father’s day. So many different occasions some formal and some quite informal.
I usually enjoy the first weeks of January as it’s a nice quiet time after all the frenzy of the Holiday season. But after another 4 - 6 weeks have passed, I find I’m tired of winter and can only look forward to Spring. It shouldn’t be too much longer before I am finally able to see the buds swell on the trees and the birds come back.
